Popular Osaka, from Old Town to Neon
Shinsekai, built in 1912 drawing on both Paris and Coney Island, is explored around Tsutenkaku Tower and its skewers of kushikatsu. Shitennoji temple, founded in 593 and considered Japan's oldest official Buddhist temple, comes before the climb up Abeno Harukas, Japan's tallest skyscraper. The evening plays out in Namba and Dotonbori, along the canal, under the neon signs and the Glico running man.
