01DAY

Tokyo of the Imagination

The morning is spent at Inokashira Park and the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, whose timed, named tickets must be booked well in advance. Kichijoji, regularly voted the district Tokyoites would most like to live in, fills the middle of the day with its shopping streets and Harmonica Yokocho. The afternoon rides the JR Chuo line to Koenji, a district of vintage shops and independent music, then Nakano Broadway and its concentration of figures and collectibles.
