After the Ueno then Akihabara sequence, the walk continues to Kanda Myojin shrine, protector of business and technology, whose votive plaques are often illustrated with manga characters. The music shop street of Ochanomizu, one of Japan's densest concentrations of instrument makers, leads to Jimbocho, Japan's capital of second-hand books.
